remiPrivacy Policy

This page describes what we collect when you use remi and how we keep that data protected. We at remi take your privacy seriously. We collect only the information necessary to operate our platform, verify your identity, process payments, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your data to third parties, and we do not use it for marketing purposes beyond service notifications.

Our privacy practices follow data protection principles: we collect minimally, store securely, and retain only as long as necessary. When you open an account on remi, you provide personal information — name, email, phone, date of birth, and payment details. We use encryption and access controls to protect this data from unauthorised access.

This policy applies to all users of remi, regardless of location. If you have questions about how we handle your data, contact our support team during business hours (Monday–Friday, 09:00–17:00 Jakarta time). We respond to data requests within 30 days.

What Data We Collect on remi

We collect information in three categories: account data, transaction data, and technical data. Account data includes your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, and identity document (ID number and photo). We collect this during registration and verification to confirm your identity and prevent fraud.

Transaction data includes all deposits, withdrawals, wagers, and payouts on your remi account. We record the amount, payment method, timestamp, and outcome of each transaction. We retain transaction records for at least 12 months for audit and dispute resolution purposes.

Technical data includes your IP address, device type, browser version, and session activity. We collect this automatically when you access remi to monitor for suspicious activity, prevent fraud, and improve platform performance. We also collect information about which games you play and how long you play them — this helps us understand user behaviour and identify technical issues.

Cookies and tracking: We use cookies to maintain your login session and remember your preferences. These are session cookies (deleted when you close your browser) and persistent cookies (stored for up to 12 months). You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may limit remi functionality.

How We Use Your Data on remi

We use your data for five primary purposes. First, we verify your identity and prevent fraud. We compare your registration details against fraud databases and monitor for duplicate accounts or suspicious patterns. Second, we process your payments — deposits and withdrawals require your payment method details, which we share with our payment processors.

Third, we comply with legal obligations. We may be required by law to disclose your data to government agencies, tax authorities, or law enforcement. We do this only when legally compelled and we notify you when possible. Fourth, we improve our service. We analyse gameplay patterns, payment trends, and technical performance to identify bugs and optimise remi.

Fifth, we communicate with you about your account. We send emails about account verification, withdrawal status, and service updates. We do not send marketing emails unless you opt in. You can manage your notification preferences in your remi account settings.

Third-Party Data Processors on remi

We share your data with third-party processors who help us operate remi. Our payment processors (DANA, e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, online payment, e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, online payment, e-wallet) receive your payment details to process transactions. Our hosting provider stores our servers and databases. Our identity verification vendor receives your ID and selfie to confirm your identity.

All third-party processors sign data protection agreements requiring them to protect your data and use it only for the purposes we specify. We do not allow them to use your data for their own marketing or to share it with other parties. We review our processors annually to ensure they maintain adequate security standards.

Our servers may be located outside your jurisdiction. This means your data may be transferred across borders. We ensure that any cross-border transfer complies with applicable data protection laws. If you have concerns about international data transfer, contact our support team.

Data retention: We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. After you close your account, we retain transaction records for 12 months for audit purposes, then delete them. We retain identity documents for 7 years to comply with anti-money-laundering regulations.

Security Measures on remi

We conduct regular security audits and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities. We maintain a bug bounty program so security researchers can report issues responsibly. We have an incident response plan in place — if a data breach occurs, we notify affected users within 72 hours and cooperate with authorities.

We do not store payment card details on our servers. Payment processing is handled by certified payment processors who comply with PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard). Your card details are never visible to remi staff.
